One2Go Insurance offers government-approved inbound travel insurance for Thailand, it complies with all visa application laws and covers Covid 19. The company has grown from this small idea back in April of 2020 to a company with 6 staff members with exciting new job opportunities for the very near future.
As a business owner, what are your top three priorities?
As a newly established business, our key priorities at the moment are competing with competitors and market analysis. Also, another major priority for us here at one2go is our reputation. We pride ourselves on quick and effective customer service.
How did you get your idea or concept for the business?
With the current global pandemic, we saw an opportunity in the market to provide an affordable Covid cover for ex-pats and Thai nationals looking to come back to the Kingdom of Thailand.
What was your mission at the outset?
Our mission here at one2go is to be competitive and provide worldwide cover and outstanding customer service.
Is this where you thought you would end up?
With a global client base, and eventually branching off into further fields of insurance.
To what do you attribute your success?
Great local knowledge with Thai and English experts in this field, excellent marketing strategy.
What’s one thing you see small business owners failing to do?
Personally, I feel it’s hard for small business owners in this current climate anyway but a lot underestimate their ability and what they can achieve. A lot falls under the first bit of adversary.
If One2go could achieve just one goal in the next 12 months, what would it be?
Our goal is to achieve our current target set, also global recognition.
How long have you been a Servcorp client, and what has impressed you the most about our service?
We’ve been a client for around 7 months, the thing that's impressed us the most is the professional corporate environment, and the helpfulness of office staff. With the pandemic in the full grip of the country, the company has made full advantage of the flexibility that Servcorp offers, with all members of staff being able to work from home and using the company office for regular meetings when needed. The flexibility already mentioned offers us the opportunity to expand into larger office space as we grow.
What has been the biggest benefit you’ve experienced as a result of working with Servcorp?
The biggest benefit of working with Servcorp is the high standards of office space provided, the facilities are always immaculate and it really allows you to get on with work seamlessly.
Another key factor to this partnership has been the prominent and prestigious location that Servcorp offers in the capital. We are able to compete with the larger insurance brokers, keeping our costs to a minimum enabling us to offer prices that the larger companies cannot keep up with. We regard our staff as one big business family and offer a level of personal service that all concerning travelers (customer) would expect.
If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be?
The advice I'd always give is don't be scared to take the leap and make mistakes, business is always about learning.
